Markneukirchen Violin

This 4/4 violin from Markneukirchen is especially striking due to the strong arching of the body, its red-brown translucent varnish and the elongated shape. Although the ff-holes and the arching are more reminiscent of a model after Jakob Stainer, the shape itself is more in line with the Italian design.
Its bright sound clearly asserts itself. The tone responds cleanly and reliably. The trebles clearly show the overtones, which can develop a rich, sometimes singing character. All in all, a solid entry-level model for students.
